UKARIA honours our First Nations by fostering a shared sense of respect for this land, and we acknowledge and pay our respects to the Peramangk, traditional custodians of the land on which the Cultural Centre stands.
UKARIA crosses all boundaries to be a place of inspiration, connection and healing to those who experience it – whether through its cultural, education or commercial practices. It is a place where musical excellence is nurtured and new work is born, where those who tend to the building and gardens act with integrity and follow sustainable, biodiverse and biodynamic practices.
We believe culture and art are intrinsic to who we are as people. Nature inspires creativity and is an integral part of enriching culture. Family, friends and visitors to the UKARIA Cultural Centre can feel and see this philosophy in everything we do.
UKARIA acknowledges the Peramangk People on whose land the UKARIA Cultural Centre is built.
