Mozart's Muses: wonderful women and inspiring heroines

Mozart’s legendary inspiration had beautiful melodies and harmonies effortlessly pouring out of his pen. But behind every inspiration is a muse.

Renowned Australian Pianist Anna Goldsworthy explores some of the women in Mozart’s life, real women who inspired his compositions, and operatic characters who fired his imagination.

She is joined by guest soprano Sky Ingram and mezzo-soprano Anna Dowsley, playing sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella in State Opera’s Così fan tutte, for a stirring recital at the wonderful UKARIA.
