In this Adelaide Festival exclusive, Mustonen draws on a lifelong connection with Beethoven’s music to perform 13 of his sublime Piano Sonatas in an intimate, weekend-long cycle at UKARIA. Beethoven’s Sonatas rank alongside Shakespeare’s Sonnets or Bach’s Cantatas as showcases of their creators’ artistic genius and personal windows into their character. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in Beethoven’s brilliance in the hands of one of the most in-demand concert pianists of today.

The final concert features the beloved Moonlight sonata and the profound Op. 110 – Beethoven’s penultimate sonata, written in ill health and filled with transcendent beauty.

Bookings are essential for all meals, and must be pre-booked through UKARIA. Meal bookings close seven days before the date of the concert. Dietary requirements must be indicated prior and are unable to be amended on the day.
