The Idea of North: Live, Actually
4PM or 7:30PM
The afternoon concert runs for approximately 90 minutes without interval (4PM–5:30PM).
The evening concert runs for approximately 2 hours including an interval (7:30PM–9:30PM).
The same program will be performed at each concert.
After their effervescent reunion in 2023, The Idea of North is thrilled to be back on the road this November to celebrate the release of their fifteenth album. In 2006 the group recorded and released their first live album, Live at the Powerhouse to great acclaim.
Their new album Live celebrates last year’s joyful reunion, recorded in some of Australia’s premier venues, taking the listener on a journey through the breadth of repertoire for which this group is renowned. This will be the group’s first ever performance in the stunning UKARIA Concert Hall, and promises a uniquely intimate experience.
Presenting a selection of songs from Live, combined with a sprinkling of new tunes and old favourites, The Idea of North invites you to bask in the glow of unadorned vocal harmony.
Please note: Antipasti Platters are available to enjoy prior to the 7:30PM concert only (available to collect at the bar from 6:30PM). Please ensure you have a booking for the 7:30PM concert before booking a platter.
Prior to the 4PM concert, the bar will be open for drinks and snacks from 3PM.
