Be transported to "the land that sings".
This world-renowned ensemble of ethereal singers blends Latvian folk songs with exquisite, modern a cappella arrangements. Imbued with the rich musical heritage of Latvia – home to a 2027 Cultural Capital of the World, Liepāja – this luminous performance showcases the most inventive and profound of instruments: the human voice.
Oscillating between individual and collective voices, this transcendent a cappella performance reimagines Bach’s sacred choral works as a contemporary mass. Artistic director Laura Jēkabsone’s 6 Psalms for 6 Voices celebrates each singer’s distinctive voice within a rich sonic tapestry. Sacred Chord is a profound exploration of devotion, beauty and sound, moving between contemplation and radiant splendour.
