Reginald Mobley is a GRAMMY-nominated American countertenor and scholar, lauded by critics and audiences on both sides of the Atlantic as one of the finest singers of baroque, classical and modern repertoire. Paul Grabowsky AO is one of Australia’s most distinguished artists: an ARIA, Helpmann and APRA Award-winning pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. In a true meeting of musical minds, Mobley and Grabowsky unite at UKARIA to present Mobley’s latest, much-feted album Because. Originally recorded with French jazz pianist Baptiste Trotignon, Because celebrates spiritual and gospel traditions, alongside music of black composers such as Florence Price and Harry Burleigh.
