Shakespeare has been the inspiration not just for grand opera, but for countless pieces of beautiful chamber and vocal music. A program featuring quirky and surprising music inspired by Shakespeare; from Schubert to Shostakovich, Purcell to Poulenc, and featuring Finzi's gorgeous song cycle Let Us Garlands Bring, paired with Shakespearian cello solos by Ned Rorem.

State Opera South Austalia presents soprano Desiree Frahn and baritone Jeremy Tatchell in recital with cellist Sharon Grigoryan and pianist Anthony Hunt for an intimate afternoon in the stunning surrounds of UKARIA Cultural Centre.
