* This concert has been rescheduled from Sunday 19 September 2021

Award-winning pianist Andrea Lam is praised for her 'melting lyricism, filigree touch and spirited eloquence' (The Australian). Holding degrees from the Yale School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, she has appeared as a soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia and Christchurch Symphony Orchestras, along with all major Australian symphony orchestras.

Currently Co-Concertmaster of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and First Violinist of the Australian String Quartet, Dale Barltrop has also appeared as Concertmaster of the Australian World Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle. He has been engaged as a soloist with the MSO, and with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra with whom he also served as Concertmaster from 2009–2016.

Michael Dahlenburg was appointed Cellist of the Australian String Quartet in November 2020. Before joining the ASQ, he served as Principal Cello and regular guest conductor of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. A founding member of the Hamer Quartet, Michael has performed with ensembles including the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Flinders Quartet, and Celia Craig's ARCADIA ensemble.
