A staged play reading presented by Independent Theatre
Retired actress, Judith Bliss, and her novelist husband, David, are living in the country with their artistically precocious children, Simon and Sorel. Unbeknown to the others, each has invited a guest down for the weekend. Their outlandish, theatrical behaviour terrifies and appals their unwitting guests, who find themselves entangled in the battling, monstrous egos of their hosts.
Noël Coward's hilarious comedy of appallingly bad manners was first produced in June 1925, and has proved to be one of his most enduring ever since.
