Conditions of Entry – UKARIA Cultural Centre

COVID-19 Vaccinations and Mask Wearing

Beginning 19 January 2022, UKARIA requires anyone aged 12 years or older wishing to enter the venue – including visitors, clients, suppliers, contractors and staff – to comply with one of the following conditions of entry:

  1. Proof of double vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration will be required to gain entry.
  2. If you have a medical exemption or are not vaccinated, evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result attained within 72 hours of entering the premises will be required to gain entry.

Mask wearing is also a condition of entry for persons aged 12 years or older entering the Auditorium and the Garden Terrace. If you have a medical exemption for wearing a mask, you will need to show your official certificate of exemption along with photo ID each time you visit the venue.

Please consider the vaccination status of you and your guests prior to purchasing a ticket.

COVID-19 Specific Conditions of Entry

UKARIA has adopted some special Terms and Conditions in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. You should not attend the venue or the event if you are required to be in isolation as a result of COVID-19 diagnosis or pending test result, or you have been directed to be in quarantine because of close contact with a person with COVID-19, or if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. You must communicate these requirements to members of your booking party as these conditions apply to them as well.

You and each member of your booking party must comply with any COVID-19 safety protocols or requirements notified to you by UKARIA (including by way of signage at the venue or by way of line markings on the floor).
This includes complying with:

  • QR code check-in requirements;
  • COVID vaccination certification check requirements;
  • Face mask requirements;
  • Hand hygiene requirements;
  • Physical distancing requirements (including physical spacing requirements while queuing);
  • Patron limits for particular spaces and areas; or
  • Patron density requirements.

You acknowledge that patrons not adhering to these requirements may be in breach of directions issued by the State Coordinator for which penalties may apply.

  • You acknowledge that UKARIA may be required to collect contact tracing information from you and each member of your booking party when you and they attend the venue. This includes the first name and phone number of each person who attends the venue including children and babies. You must communicate this requirement to each member of your booking party before they attend the venue.

  • You agree to provide us with any information we are required to collect for contract tracing purposes. The purpose of collecting this information is to assist any contact tracing in the event of an outbreak or potential exposure to someone with COVID-19 at the venue. You acknowledge that we may disclose contact tracing information to health authorities or as otherwise required or authorised by law. You acknowledge that we may retain the information for 28 days (or such longer period as required by law), after which time it will be deleted or destroyed. While we hold the information, we will take all reasonable steps to keep your contact tracing information secure and free from unauthorised access or use.

  • You and your booking party may be refused entry or required to leave the venue or event if you or they:
    • Refuse to comply with any COVID-19 safety protocols or requirements notified to you by UKARIA.
    • Refuse to comply with any reasonable health and safety directions given by venue staff.
    • Refuse to provide contract tracing information to UKARIA on request.
    • Are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, as notified to or as assessed by venue staff. These include: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of taste and/or smell.
    • Are required to be in isolation as a result of COVID-19 diagnosis/pending test result or have been directed to be in quarantine because of close contact with a person with COVID-19.

We ask that you and each member of your booking party to make a reasonable assessment of your health status before attending our venue or the event. To avoid doubt, you will not be entitled to a refund if you or a member of your booking party attends our venue or event despite you exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and if you or they are then refused entry or asked to leave the venue or event.

    General Conditions

    • Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject from the venue any person if it believes their presence is likely to cause a nuisance, disturbance or threat to other patrons, the venue or its employees.
    • Any person under the age of 15 attending ticketed events must be accompanied by an adult seated in an adjoining seat.
    • If a person under the age of 15 causes a disturbance or distraction to other patrons, staff may request that the accompanying adult remove the child from the venue.

    • Latecomers will be admitted only when there is a suitable break in the performance.
    • Concession cards must be produced on request.

    Variations to Performances or Events

    UKARIA reserves the right to change artists, programs, venue opening and/or performance times should this become necessary.

    Transfers and Credits

    Your ticket is transferable and can be given to friends or family if you are unable to attend.

    If we have capacity, you may exchange your ticket to an event of equal value within the same calendar year by contacting UKARIA on (08) 8227 1277 during office hours, or at info@ukaria.com. We are also happy to offer a credit that can be used within a three-year period. • An artist unexpectedly withdraws from the performance.
    • A Catastrophic Fire Danger Warning is in place for the Mt Lofty Ranges, and the performance is cancelled.
    • We receive at least seven days’ notice that you are unable to attend a performance, and we are able to resell your ticket(s) to a patron on our waiting list.
    • The performance is cancelled due to COVID-19 venue or travel restrictions, and an alternative date is unable to be secured.
    • The performance is postponed due to COVID-19 venue or travel restrictions, and you cannot attend on the alternative date.

    Please note: If a performance is cancelled or postponed, refunds must be requested prior to the date of the performance. If a refund has not been requested after the performance date has passed, a credit to the value of your booking will be issued.
