MOZART AND STANHOPE

Nicknamed the Dissonance for its extraordinary opening bars and dedicated to Haydn, Mozart’s String Quartet in C, K. 465 is among the most celebrated in the repertoire. By contrast, leading Australian composer Paul Stanhope’s String Quartet No. 3 draws inspiration from the vast landscape of the central Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Includes Devonshire tea served prior to the performance from 10.00am.
