During the recording of Archie Roach’s Tell Me Why, Emma joined us in the studio for a duet with the great man on ‘Just a Closer Walk With Thee’, a tribute to Mahalia Jackson. Her command of gospel music was immediately and excitingly evident.
Emma’s voice is rich, powerful and glowing, and I can’t wait to share the stage with her for the first time as we explore her favourite gospel classics, including songs written by her grandfather.’
