PRELUDE

'Be like the flower, turn your faces to the sun.'

– Khalil Gibran

2022 is upon us and with a New Year comes hope for new possibilities. We have all lived through challenging moments, and have adapted, learnt and created new ways of doing. This is ever true at UKARIA where our cultural program has continued to adapt and evolve. We are most grateful for your patience and support as we navigate the easing of border restrictions, the resumption of travel and the joyous return of artists.

While we are not yet in a position to release our entire 2022 season, we are delighted that we have several new offerings in February and March including Chamber Landscapes during the Adelaide Festival. As always, we look forward to welcoming back all our friends, on and off stage, so that together we can be nourished by music in nature.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES AS AT 30 NOVEMBER 2021

The wellbeing of our audience and artists is our first priority. We've implemented a number of measures to make your experience at UKARIA as safe as possible.

Face Masks

UKARIA holds an SA Health approved COVID-Safe Plan which is reliant on all patrons wearing face masks (covering mouth and nose) upon entering the premises (Garden Terrace, foyer and concert hall). This means we can have general admission seating, and patrons can sit wherever they like.

Checking In

Upon arrival, we require all patrons to register their details for contact tracing. Checking in is quick and easy:

  • Download or log in to the free mySA Gov app
  • Scan the QR code (located in the concert hall foyer and Garden Terrace) with your phone's camera
  • Enter your name and phone number
  • Follow the prompts
  • Done – you're checked in!

If you do not have a smartphone, or experience any issues checking in on your device, don't panic: we will have a sign-up sheet available in the foyer where you can manually write down your details. Please see our front-of-house team in the foyer, who will be able to assist you.

Seating

All seats are general admission. If you require mobility-impaired access, please let us know by emailing info@ukaria.com or by phoning (08) 8227 1277.

Hand Sanitiser

Hand sanitiser is provided in the foyer and in the Garden Terrace.

Entering the Auditorium

The doors of the auditorium will open approximately thirty minutes prior to the start time of the event. Please see our front-of-house team in the foyer, who will check your ticket details and direct you to an usher who will help you find your seats.

Refreshments

Patrons can purchase barista coffee, tea, or a glass of wine before the event from the Garden Terrace bar. The bar is open ninety minutes prior to each event, and during the interval (if applicable). We encourage you to wander through the garden to help us maintain physical distancing.
